This project involved a feasibility study for the repair and upgrade of sea defences at the Port of Rethymnon, Crete, Greece, commissioned by MARNET S.A. The scope included demand analysis, preliminary sizing of port areas, option analysis, cost-benefit assessment, and risk analysis, providing a comprehensive basis for decision-making. As a Port Expert, I contributed technical expertise to support the development of sustainable solutions in the Ports and Harbours sector. The project was backed by an estimated budget of €13.7 million, highlighting its strategic importance for the region’s maritime infrastructure.
